Elaine Gill, Chair
A professional director, Elaine has been a member of the Board since 1986 and was appointed Chair in 1996.
She is deputy chair of Taranaki Investments Ltd, and a director of two Australian based companies, The Van Diemans Land Company and Tasman Farms Ltd.
With degrees in Law and Teaching, Elaine has a background in planning, business development and tourism.
She currently chairs a number of Charitable Trusts including Taranaki Arts Festival Trust, Taranaki Employment and Support Foundation and Community Taranaki Trust.
She served three terms on the New Plymouth District Council, initially being elected in 1998.
Bruce Richards, Deputy Chair
Bruce Richards was appointed to the TSB Board in 1988.
He is a Chartered Accountant and was a Director of Staples Rodway Taranaki Limited until 30 June 2012.
He has now resigned as a Director and continues to act as a Consultant for the company.
He is a Life Member of the Stratford Mountain Club and Treasurer of the New Plymouth Surf Riders Club.
He is also involved in the following: Director - Woodhams Meikle Zhan Group of Companies; Chairman - New Plymouth Y Community Trust; Trustee - Taranaki Arts Festival Trust; WOMAD New Zealand Charitable Trust; Taranaki Garden Festival Charitable Trust; Arts Festival Taranaki Charitable Trust and New Plymouth District Art in Public Place Trust.
David Lean QSO
David Lean has extensive Local Government experience, including 12 years as Mayor of New Plymouth.
He is currently Deputy Chairman Taranaki Regional Council, Chairman of Sport Taranaki and Managing Director of two private companies.
David has a long term Board involvement with TSB Bank Ltd and is a former Trustee of TSB Community Trust.
He is also a member of TSB Bank Audit Committee.
David Walter
David Walter QSO JP is a farmer, businessman, and historian who has held a wide range of public offices.
These include 33 years in local government until 2007, during which time he has been Stratford County Chairman, Stratford District Mayor and Taranaki Regional Council Chairman.
He has been a director of TSB Bank since 1994, and chaired the TSB Community Trust between 1994 and 2002.
He has also served on the boards of Port Taranaki Ltd and New Zealand Counties Investment Company Ltd.
His family have a direct involvement in the tourism industry, and he has chaired Tourism Taranaki Inc.
Mr Walter has a background in journalism and recently wrote the history of TSB Bank, entitled ‘From Faith to Fortune – the TSB Bank Story 1850-2010’.

Anne Blackburn
Anne is a banker by professional background, having had earlier careers in journalism and diplomacy.
Her areas of particular expertise and interest in governance are capital markets and remuneration and HR practice.
She is a director of businesses across the capital markets spectrum from venture investment, through stockbroking and funds management, to life insurance and banking.
Anne has chaired a number of Boards, Board Audit and Risk and Board Remuneration Committees.
Complementing her capital markets focus is a portfolio of businesses in the infrastructure and built environment sectors.
She also holds governance positions in arts, medical research and education not-for-profit organisations.
Kelly Marriner
A fourth generation to live in Central Taranaki, Kelly returned back to the province to commence a career in law in 2000 having graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Japanese.
Kelly is a Partner in the law firm Parker and Marriner Lawyers, Hawera, specialising in Criminal and Family Law.
She chairs the Board of Trustees of Stratford Primary School and is also the South Taranaki representative for the Taranaki Family Court Users Committee.
Kevin Murphy, Managing Director / CEO
Kevin has more than 15 years' experience at senior executive level with TSB Bank, contributing as Finance Manager then Deputy CEO, before taking the Managing Director/CEO role in 2010.
Kevin provides leadership, as well as strategic and operational direction.
He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.
