United Kingdom bank accounts
If you’re heading to the UK on your Overseas Experience, you can arrange a bank account with HSBC Bank in London before you go (but you do need to be a TSB Bank customer first**).
Please note, there is a small set-up fee, and you will need to visit the HSBC Oxford Street Branch in person to finalise the account opening.
There will also be a wait to receive your bank card, so make sure you have cash on hand when you arrive in London.
** At least 6 months banking history with TSB Bank is required.
