Whether you’re sending money overseas or conducting international trade, we have an international payment option to meet your needs.
We offer bank drafts, telegraphic transfers, forward exchange contracts and international trade options (including import and export documentary letters of credit, and import and export documentary collections).
To transfer funds overseas you must be a TSB Bank customer. Please note we may need to see your identification (Passport or NZ Drivers Licence and bank card embossed with your name).
Complete an Outward Telegraphic Transfer form electronically, then print and sign it, and email or fax it to your branch.

If you're overseas and have money to send home to your TSB Bank account or to your Foreign Currency account, or you're expecting payment from someone in another country, the overseas bank will need a few details before the payment can be made.

Managing your foreign funds is easy with our Foreign Currency accounts. We have a number of currencies available, and we make depositing and withdrawing funds simple.
Please note, a Foreign Currency account isn't suitable for accessing cash while travelling or saving for a holiday. See above for alternative ways to carry and access holiday money.
