As an example, if you pay income tax at 33% and have $150,000 invested in a regular On Call account that's earning 1.75% per annum. In this scenario you'll receive an annual return of $1,766.50 after tax.
With the tax benefits of a TSB Bank PIE Cash Fund* earning the same 2.01% per annum, you'll receive an after tax $1,898.95 per annum.
This equates to 1.89% per annum return if you had to pay the 33% tax rate - giving you an extra $132.45 to enjoy.
