Different interest rates apply to balance transfers. For each balance transfer, we will tell you the balance transfer interest rate and how long that rate applies (the balance transfer period) when we approve the balance transfer. 

We can change our interest rates and fees from time to time.

Fees

Card specific fees

We charge different fees for administering different types of credit card accounts, and any additional cards on those card accounts. We may charge the following fees:

Fee Additional card fee Amount $5 per additional card per year

Fee Annual fee – Platinum Mastercard Amount $90 per year
Fee Additional card fee Amount $5 per additional card per year

We charge these fees to assist in covering TSB’s costs associated with providing account access and facilitating payments, and, for the TSB Platinum Mastercard, the costs of providing features of your cards such as rewards and insurance.

  • We charge annual fees on the first statement in which another fee, a transaction or a balance transfer has been recorded, and then yearly after that. The date of the first annual fee will be the closing date of that statement.
  • We charge the first additional card fee for an additional cardholder on the first statement which shows a transaction by that additional cardholder, and then yearly after that. The date of the first additional card fee for that additional cardholder will be the closing date of that statement.

When we charge the fee

Type Cash advances across the counter Amount No limit on manual cash withdrawal amounts across the counter (or via branch) up to the available balance. You are unable to withdraw cash over the counter at a TSB branch using your Credit Mastercard.
Type Purchases Amount No limit on purchase amounts up to the available balance

Daily limits are based on 24-hour periods of New Zealand time.

*If the bank or institution operating the ATM applies a maximum daily limit which is less than our limits, that limit will apply instead.
